Looking for a great place to pick up some pumpkins and have lots of fun in the process?
Drive north of town to Anderson Farms, where they host one of the metro area’s most popular daily fall festivals. This farm goes all out with the attractions, with a very elaborate (and long) corn maze, barrel rides, pumpkin chunkin, hay rides, and gem mining. It provides a fun afternoon for family photo ops and it’s a great way to wear out the kids before making the trek home. The attractions are included with the $10 admission fee. Pumpkins – which you can pick via a fun hay ride from the fair to the pumpkin patch – range from $2-12 each.
At night, they also feature a haunted corn maze and zombie paintball.
Directions: From I-25, take exit 235 and head west on CO Highway 52 for 2-1/2 miles. Turn north County Road (CR) 3-1/4 and the farm will be on the right.
